End of year baking
I can't quite believe my final baking endeavours of 2012 haven't made it onto my blog yet, especially as these were the creations I was most proud of! 2013 baking has already begun so I should probably round off last year before launching into tales of my latest kitchen exploits.

The first was from the Hummingbird Bakery cookbook called 'Cake Days' so I'd rather not share the recipe on here but I THOROUGHLY recommend the book! http://hummingbirdbakery.com/cookbooks/cake-days/
It's the spiced apple cake. I then used a cream cheese frosting base and added cinnamon to taste.
The cookbook also shows you how to make sugared fruit to decorate, so it was a mish-mash of things, but all from Hummingbird Bakery :)
They look heavenly, v impressed with the chocolate house!
